Chandra Morkonda is an award-winning Indian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Taiwan. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant patterns and textures in sarees inspired him to become an artist. Morkonda is also fascinated by trees and the deities associated with them, as well as the intertwining symbolism between the two. His contemporary and vivid compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
